Pat Downey To Make Debut At Bellator 284

All American and former world team member Patrick Downey will be making his Bellator debut tonight on the Bellator 284 preliminary card.

Downey will be taking on an 0-3 Keyes Nelson in his fight. Nelson competed in his last fight over 3 years ago at this point (tapology) so there is not much on him being that he lost all his pro fights so far.

Coming into this 0-0 we will get to see if Downey was all hype or he truly could be something good in MMA. He competed at the world team trials for wrestling at 92kg where he was pinned by Isaac Trumble in the first round. This is the last we saw of Downey and it was a surprise appearance at that.

A lot of the wrestling community will be tuning into this card being that former Minnesota All American Mitch McKee will also be making his debut for Bellator.
