Mitch McKee To Make Debut At Bellator 284

Former Minnesota All American Mitch McKee will be making his Bellator debut this Friday where he will be taking on Tony Ortega.

Ortega is currently on a 2 match win streak and has a 5-4 professional MMA record thus far in his career. His last fight was back in August of 2021 so almost a year ago being that his most recent fight was cancelled.

He won his last fight by submission (RNC) in round 2 against Ashton Caniglia at DCS 73.

“Merciless” Mitch McKee comes into his debut 2-0 in his pro career. His last victory came against Jalen Jackson where he won by by ground & pound 2:02 into round 1.

Looking back on his wrestling career at the University of Minnesota he was an All American in 2019 where he placed 6th at the national championships. He was given covid All American status in 2020 when the season was cancelled and he was a 4x national qualifier.

His hit list in college is solid as well racking up wins against guys like Chad Red Jr, Kaid Brock, Max Murin and more.
