Tamyra Mensah-Stock has been one of the most dominant women’s wrestlers in the world these past couple years. Winning olympic gold in Tokyo and taking Bronze at the world championships last year she is arguably the best women’s wrestler in the country along with Helen Maroulis and Adeline Gray.
The recipient of the award last year was Allyson Felix (track) who was a 11x medalist at the olympic games as well as an 18x medalist at the world championships.
Along with the olympic gold medal Tamyra is a world champion (2019) and 2x world medalist, 3x Pan American championships gold medalist, Pan American games gold medalist and she is also a 3x champion at the Ivan Yarygin.
