Brock Mantanona has announced that he will be continuing his wrestling career at the University of Michigan via Instagram post.
Mantanona just completed his sophomore year in high school so this is somewhat of an early commitment however his brother Beau will also be heading to the University of Michigan to continue his wrestling career.
This past season Brock was ranked number 11 at 132 pounds on Flo’s rankings. He should move up around five or six spots in the rankings when we account for the seniors that are leaving and one or two wrestlers maybe switching weight classes.
Brock won the California state championships this past season and will look to repeat but that will be no easy task with Jack Gioffre and Grigor Cholakyan in his way you are in the top 10 of the national rankings at the weight.
Their brother’s Troy and Anthony wrestle for the University of Oklahoma with Troy compiling a 24-20 career record so far and Anthony compiling a 68-42 record for himself.
