Nate Carr Jr Named Davidson Head Coach

Nate Carr Jr has been named the head coach for the Davidson wrestling program. Before this he was the assistant wrestling coach at Lock Haven and wrestled at Iowa State. The Carr’s have been a prominent wrestling family in USA wrestling with Nate Carr being an Olympic medalist, as well as David Carr being a national champ and multiple time All American.

During his time at Lock Haven where he spent 6 years he has coached some solid wrestlers, most notably Chance Marsteller who is currently ranked 2nd in the country at 79kg and is one of the very few wrestlers to ever claim a win over Jordan Burroughs.

Davidson has not been one of the top schools but this could definitely change in the next few years as adding Nate Carr Jr. seems to be a solid choice.
