In four days Bo Nickal will appear on Dana White’s contender series on ESPN+.
Nickal recently announced his opponent Zachary Borrego via Instagram post. The episode of the contender series will be live on August 9th.
Let’s start with Borrego since most of you reading this already know about Nickal. Borrego is a 26 year old fighter nicknamed “the dragon”. He currently holds a professional record of 3-0. He is from Texas just like Bo and he is 6’2 with a 77″ reach.
Nickal made his pro debut not too long back where we won by knockout in just 33 seconds over John Noland. This was on Jorge Masvidals Ikon Fighting Championship on June 3rd.
As far as the background goes Nickal is one of the most dominant wrestlers in NCAA Wrestling history winning 3 national titles and making 4 finals. With wins over guys like Zahid Valencia, Kollin Moore, and Gabe Dean.
From what has been being said Nickal seems to have the odds in his favor but we just have to wait and see.
