Evan Henderson just announced via Instagram that he will be taking an assistant coaching position at Lehigh University.

Henderson has been a consistent in the USA at 65kg for a few years now with wins over guys like Seth Gross, Nick Lee, and Kendric Maple recently. He was able to make it to Final X this year with an insane comeback victory over Nick Lee but fell to Yianni Diakomihalis who will be competing at the world championships in Serbia.

Henderson wrestled his collegiate career at the University of North Carolina where he compiled a 103-30 career record (via North Carolina team site).

The coaching staff at Lehigh is currently consisted of National Champions Zach Rey and Darian Cruz along with Brad Dillon and head coach Pat Santoro.

The Lehigh outlook for the program seems to be looking up even with the departure of All American Jordan Wood. With them bringing in Michael Beard and incoming freshman such as Ryan Crookham it seems as if the Lehigh program is heading in a good direction.
