Weston Dalton has recently announced his commitment to the University of Nebraska in which he wrote, ” I’m excited to announce that I will be continuing my wrestling career and education at the University of Nebraska! I’d like to thank my family, coaches, and everyone else who has helped me along the way! Go Big Red”.
Dalton finished his 2021-22 season with a 42-3 record and 39-0 in state. Some of Dalton’s most notable achievements include placing third at Fargo and eighth at Ironman.
When asked what the deciding factor to commit to Nebraska and what he was looking forward to in colligative wrestling, Dalton replied, “I think the deciding factor was my visit. As soon as I saw the campus, met the staff and wrestlers I knew this is the place I wanted to be. I’m looking forward to the grind and living my dream of being a Division 1 wrestler, and hopefully accomplish the goals I’ve had since I was 10”.
Dalton will now be wrestling for the University of Nebraska.
