Misha Lomboy has recently announced he had signed to Michigan State University with him writing on his commitment post, “I’m extremely excited to announce that I have committed to Michigan State University to further my academic and athletic career. Big Thank You to my Friends, Family, and Coaches supporting me throughout my journey. Go Spartans!”.
The Palma high school student placed 7th at the California state tournament. Lomboy can also be seen wrestling between the 185 pound weight class and the 220 weight class. In his most recent tournament, Lamboy was wrestling at 220. Lamboy finished his 2021-22 season with a 35-6 record.
When asked what was the reason for his commitment and what he was looking forward to, Lamboy replied, “I wasn’t too sure about MSU until the visit. I feel in love with the campus, wrestling and academic program and the team made my feel at home. I’m looking forward to start the grind, I love pushing myself”.
Lamboy will be making his way from sunny California to Michigan as he prepares to wrestle at MSU.
