Brian Finnerty Commits To West Virginia

Brian Finnerty from Thomas Jefferson high school has announced his commitment to West Virginia. Finnerty wrote, “I am extremely excited to announce that I will be continuing my Academic and Athletic career at West Virginia University. Thanks to everybody who guided me through the process. Go Mountaineers!”.

Brian Finnerty is a senior at Thomas Jefferson high school in which he was the first ever wrestler in school history to win a state tittle. Finnerty also capped his senior season with a 44-1 record.

According to Finnerty what influenced him to commit to West Virginia, “The deciding factor was really just family and coaches”. Finnerty is simply just looking forward to compete as he wrote, “I can’t wait to compete”.

Finnerty will not be seen wearing a gray and blue singlet as he continues his colligative career at West Virginia.
