Ryan Arrington Commits To CSU Bakersfield

Ryan Arrington the San Marino senior has announced his commitment to California State University Bakersfield.

The titan wrestler has had numerous accomplishment such as winning the Downey wrestling tournament at the 220 pound weight class going 5-0. He was just one of 3 wrestlers who were able to attend the tournament. Along with winning the Downey wrestling tournament, he placed first at the CIF-SS inland division tournament. Arrington also qualified for the 2022 CIF state wrestling tournament in which he placed third out of 36 wrestlers in the 220 pound weight class. As he was wrestling for third place he won pinned Mathias Sorensen of San Marcos high school within the first 35 seconds of the match.

During his 2019-2020 season he was wrestling between the 195 pound weight class and the 182 pound weight class. Although he did not place in most of his freshman year tournaments he did participate in a couple of important tournaments such as the 11th battle of the belt tournament. As Arrington progressed through the season it is clearly visible through the track wrestling website.
