Trayce Eckman has announced his commitment towards Bellarmine University. The Union County high schooler announced via Instagram, “I’m excited to announce that I will continue my academic and athletic career at Bellarmine University”. Along with his commitment announcement he also commented, “I want to thank my family, friends, and coaches who have helped me every step of the way”.
The Kentucky wrestler has a 52-8 record with a total of 28 pins and 7 techs. He placed first the the 2022 KHSAA final round state championships. In that same year, Eckman also placed first at the 2022 KHSAA first round state tournament. In his 2021 season, Eckman placed first at the 2021 KHSAA first round state tournament and placed second at the 2021 KHSAA final round state championships.
The Kentucky wrestler will be staying in his home state to wrestle at Bellarmine University. Although high school might of been a breeze considering his record, the colligative level is at a higher competition.
