The former North Carolina wrestler will be transferring to the University of Colorado. Poulin announced via Instagram, “Coming Out of Hibernation🐻” hinting towards his move to UNC
The speculation on his transfer started around February 7, 2022. When he was no longer found in the North Carolina wrestling roster fans started to speculate where he would end up next. A lot of fans speculated he would transfer to PSU. The questions have been answered by non other than Stevo Poulin himself.
The former Rameses wrestler is in the 125 pound weight class, he is currently ranked at number 73 for the 2023 preseason. During his 2022 season, Poulin attended two tournaments, the Battle of the Citadel and the Wolfpack open. Poulin had a total of 7 matches of which he won 6 and lost once against Virginia Teck, Flynn Cooper.
It is unclear why Poulin decided to transfer to UNC, one thing is assured a lot of fans are claiming this is a good move on Poulin’s side and it will benefit his wrestling career.
