Alex Uryniak recently announced he’d be continuing his athletic career at the University of Maryland. The news came via Instagram in which he wrote a simple “Go Terps” caption.
During his high school athletic career, Alex was a 7th and 5th state placer, achieving a 100 win record, and being part of a 2 state team titles for North Hunterdon.
Some of the huge factors in Alex’s decision consisted of him being comfortable in Maryland since he did travel there a lot for lacrosse tournaments and their football games as well. He also felt like Maryland was the best place for him to improve as a wrestler and as a student.
During his time at Maryland, Alex is hoping to improving as an athlete and competing at the highest level in college as well as becoming an All-American.
