Ty Watson recently announced he’d be continuing his athletic and academic career at Penn State University. The news came out via instagram in which he mentioned he managed to fulfill his childhood dream of wrestling at the collegiate level.
During his high school wrestling career Watson became a 2x district, 2x regional champ, and a 2x PIAA state placer. Watson had a record of 89 wins and 15 loses.
According to Watson the main reasons for his commitment consisted of the welcoming environment he experienced during his visit as well as the coaches showing up to his football games.
During his time at Penn State, Watson is simply looking forward to being the best athlete he can be.
