Buvaisar Saitiev is widely regarded as the greatest freestyle wrestler of all time. Saitiev massively influenced wrestling and its technique as a whole during his time.

Saitiev was a 9x World and Olympic Gold Medalist. His style was something that had never really been seen before, the way he moved, the way he converted on positions, and how effortless he made all of this look.

Saitiev competed on the senior level from 1995 until 2008 where he announced his retirement from the sport after winning his 3rd Olympic gold medal in Beijing.
