Kenny Monday

Kenny Monday is one of the most accomplished wrestlers in United States history. Monday competed at the 74kg weight class were he won an Olympic Gold medal along with a world title.

Monday is most known internationally for his win over Soviet legend Arsen Fadzaev at the 1989 World Championships where he stunned the 8x World and Olympic Champion.

Monday is now (12/26/22) the head coach of the newly revived Division 1 Morgan State wrestling program. Both of his sons wrestled at the Division 1 level as well (Kennedy at North Carolina, and Quincy at Princeton).
