Minnesota and South Dakota State faced off, South Dakota State was a slight favorite heading into this dual meet. However looking at how All Americans Brayton Lee and Jake Bergeland did not wrestle it would have looked like South Dakota State should have an easy win.

Big win for Cook here over a solid opponent in Andrew Sparks.
174- Bailee O’Reilly (Minn) dec Cade Devos (SDSU) 6-5
Massive win for O’Reilly in a bout were on paper Devos should have dominated this one pretty handedly.

Overall Thoughts:
South Dakota State had some rough matches in general but they did pick up a solid win at 165 pounds.
Minnesota proved how strong of a team they can be especially with Lee and Bergeland in the lineup, and also possibly if a certain someone decides to come back in the later half of the season Minnesota could be looking at a good finish.
