The All Star Classic will be going down at 8pm EST on November 22nd live on Flowrestling.

News came out yesterday that Iowa’s Real Woods was on a “day to day” basis in terms of training. It was later confirmed that Woods would be out for the time being and that he would not be able to wrestle at the All Star Classic where he was scheduled to rematch Cole Matthews.

Northern Colorado’s Andrew Alirez has been confirmed to be the replacement at 141 pounds. He will take on last years 5th place finisher and number 1 ranked Cole Matthews from Pitt.

Alirez is 2-2 versus common opponents while Matthews is 6-1 versus common opponents, these two have never met on the collegiate scene yet so there is a lot to see this match.

Alirez missed out on the podium last year after losing to Penn’s CJ Composto, while Matthews fell just short of making the finals losing to Kizhan Clarke.

Regardless this match should be very competitive but looking at their past records and matchups Matthews should be able to come away with a close win.
