Arizona State Takes Out Mizzou In Wrestling Dual Meet

The Arizona State Sun Devils wrestled their first dual meet in the new Mullett Arena and it did not disappoint. The Sun Devils pulled off multiple upsets en route to a 19-17 victory over the Mizzou Tigers.

Overall Thoughts-

Figueroa and Vasquez winning at 125 and 141 made the difference in the dual. Parco vs Mauller was a toss up and could still go either way going forward this season.

Schultz has a much more developed offense compared to last year. Rocky Elam looks great coming into this season and will look to establish himself as a national title contender.

With no Teemer it will be a struggle for ASU to push past Iowa at number 2 but great showing for them in this dual.
