Vince Cornella Falls In Junior World Semifinals


Rough loss for Vince Cornella in the world semifinals falling to Umidjon Jalolov of Uzbekistan. Jalolov wrestled pretty much as perfect of a match that you could wrestle making no real mistakes.

Final Score- Jalolov VPO Cornella 4-0

Match Overview-

No real action in the first minute and 30 seconds and Cornella warned for passivity.

Cornella put on the shot clock and unable to score. Jalolov takes a 1-0 lead with 30 seconds left in the first period.

Jalolov takes a shot and defended by Cornella, ref stalemates the position.

Another shot by Jalolov this time getting in deep but good defense by Cornella took get out on the edge and stalemate it.

Cornella hit for passivity again and fails to score on the shot clock. Jalolov takes a 2-0 lead with 1:20 left in the match.

Cross leg cradle from Jalolov but Cornella breaks free giving up 2 for the exposure and Jalolov leads 4-0 with 50 seconds left.

Another shot from Jalolov and stalemated by Cornella.

Shot from Jalolov and gets in on the leg. Cornella works to cut the corner but to no avail ending the match 4-0 in favor of Jalolov.
