Mitchell Mesenbrink Dominates 1/8 Final Match At Junior Worlds

Mitchell Mesenbrink has looked phenomenal so far at junior worlds having not let up a point so far. He won by technical superiority against Kanat Kerimbekov of Kyrgystan.

Final Score- Mitchell Mesenbrink VSU Kanat Kerimbekov 10-0

Match Overview-

To start of the match Mesenbrink gets a nice snapdown right to an outside single takedown. He then looks for a cradle and gets it locked for a bit but does not have the ability to score from it.

Another great snapdown right after the standup which Mesenbrink converts another shot of off to make it 4-0.

Right after they get stood up again a nice outside sweep single to make it 6-0 and only a minute into the match at this point. Mesenbrink finally gets into his par terre offense converting a gut wrench for two points to make the score 8-0.

Mesenbrink gets in on a nice shot but Kerimbekov is able to get the whizzer in and ground the situation going out of bounds.

Kerimbekov gets i on a nice low single. Mesenbrink gets the crotch lock and sits the corner for the eventual takedown and ending the match by technical superiority. He is now into the quarterfinals.
