Bo Nickal To Fight Donovan Beard September 27th

There was a lot of talk especially in the wrestling community when Bo Nickal was not given a contract with the UFC after his contender series fight on Tuesday. Dana White said that he is only 2-0 and they wanted to get him one more fight and if he wins that convincingly then they will sign him.

Nickal faced off against Zachary Borrego in his first fight and that was nothing but domination from start to finish. Nickal secured a takedown grappled a little and locked up the rear naked choke to get the win by submission in only 62 seconds.

His competition will be a lot tougher this go around as he is now scheduled to fight against Donovan Beard (7-1) on the season 6 contender series finale (episode 10).

Beard was the CFFC (cage fury fighting championships) Champ at middleweight winning by fourth round submission over Miles Lee back in July. Most would say that Bo should be the favorite here again but we have not really seen him get hit or anything in his last two pro bouts so who really knows what will happen here.

Either way expect the betting odds to go crazy again next time and hit around the -4000 range just for his fight against Borrego.
