CJ Fritz has recently announced his commitment to Bloomsburg University. These news came via Instagram with him stating, “I am proud and honored to announce that I will be furthering my athletic and academic career on the Division 1 level at Bloomsburg University”.
Fritz is a 145 pound wrestler at Northampton High school. During his 2022 season he placed second at the PCJWL league championships. Along with this he also placed first at the 2022 WSWA battle of the woods tournament.
When asked what the deciding factor to become a Huskie he replied, “The deciding factor was definitely the coaches/team. I really like coach Hughes and coach Gordon and am excited to start working with them”. He was also asked what was he looking forward to in college wrestling where he responded, “I’m definitely looking forward to compete on the division 1 level and start this new chapter of my career”.
