The former Enka High School senior, Greyson Harris has announced his commitment to Hofstra University. Via instagram Harris said, “I am excited to announce my commitment to Hofstra University. I am extremely grateful for the opportunity to compete in D1, and feeling hungry as ever. Thanks to everyone who helped me get here.”
Greyson had a great senior season with a record of 48 wins and only 2 losses, he competed at the 152 weight class. Some of his most notable accomplishments consist of being the runner up at the North Carolina State Wrestling Tournament. He had also accomplished his 100th career win during his senior season, an achievement not a lot of wrestlers can complete.
When asked about the deciding factors on why he chose Hofstra Harris replied, “The deciding factors were the opportunities academically and the team culture.” When asked what he was looking forward to in the team he replied, “I’m looking forward into developing in a D1 room and finding where my ceiling is as an athlete”.
The future Hofstra wrestler has been working hard throughout the years and it is with no doubt he will be a great addition to the Hofstra team.
