Mike Pescatore the former West Essex wrestler has announced his commitment to WVU wrestling via instagram.
According to the High School Sports NJ website Pescatore’s majority of the 2021-2022 season he wrestled at 138 pounds. He had a season record of 18 wins and 5 losses in the 138 weight class.
In his senior season Pescatore entered the NJSIAA state wrestling tournament as the 20th seed in the 138 bracket in which he placed 6th place.
During a question on why did Pescatore choose WVU as his school, he replied,”I feel like it’s the all around best fit for me to accomplish my goals”
There is no doubt he is a great fit for WVU.
