Well after all this build up for potentially the match of the year this may all be shut down. There were a few developments when wrestling federation president Alireza Dabir said “Death to America” and he also stated “More important than the slogan of death to the US is to act on it”

This has now escalated drastically into Alireza Dabir possibly not being able to gain entry into the United States for the USA vs Iran match that is supposed to happen February 12th.

The Sydney Olympic Champion Dabir also stated “Some talk a lot but don’t do much, we need to prove it inaction”

According to rumors Dabir will not be granted a visa by the US Embassy due to these comments which have another outlook on the match. (Fox News) There has been external talk about the Iranian team not coming to the USA should Dabir not be granted a visa for entry to this country.

“We are united in our resolve against threats and provocations. We are united in the defense of our people. We will work with our allies and partners to deter and respond to any attacks carried out by Iran. Should Iran attack any of our nationals, it will face severe consequences”- National Security Advisor Jake Sullivan

According to Flowrestling it has come to our attention that Kyle Dake and David Taylor will not be competing at the bout at the ballpark event in Texas as well. With this being said the event is already at a detriment without two of the United States biggest stars competing. If this does happen and Alireza Dabir is not granted the visa it may shut down the entire event as a whole.

They might be able to make due and fill some matches but the event as a whole would only be some of what was scheduled to go on. We already will not see Taylor and Yazdani 4 as they continue this legendary rivalry and Gable Steveson vs Amir Zare is doubtful to crown the heavyweight king.

No rumors as to the Iranian team not attending should Dabir not be granted a visa for entry have been confirmed as of now. That may be the one positive thing to take away from this.

More updates to come as follows.
