This Sunday the Penn State Nittany Lions will be taking on the Rutgers Scarlet Knights in a top 10 dual meet and Big Ten showdown. The match that headlines this dual is none other than Nick Lee vs Sebastian Rivera. This match was won both times by Lee in the Big Ten semifinals 8-6 in sudden victory and Lee somewhat blew it open at nationals winning 9-3. Both have looked incredible so far this season Rivera is one of the three wrestlers along with Gable Steveson and Mason Parris to maintain a 100% bonus rate so far this season.
Along with Lee vs Rivera the big match that will be going down is John Poznanski vs Aaron Brooks, this is a 1 vs 5 match but the last time they wrestled Brooks won by major so take that as you will.
Overall the dual meet should not be too far contested but there should be good matches at 174 and 197 with Jackson Turley vs Carter Starocci and Max Dean vs Greg Bulsak. In both of these matches Penn State is still favored.
A big match that comes down to rankings would be #18 Mike Van Brill vs Beau Bartlett facing off at 149 pounds which could give Rutgers some momentum heading into 157 and 165 which are known to be Penn States weaker weights in the lineup.
Here is the full breakdown of the matches that should be going down.
