Real American Freestyle (RAF), the new wrestling organization backed by sports entertainment icon Hulk Hogan, has landed another major name with the signing of four-time NCAA All-American Evan Wick. Wick’s addition further elevates RAF’s growing roster of elite American talent.

Wick recently punched his ticket to Final X by winning the 2025 U.S. Open at 74 kg. With that victory, he secured the right to compete in Final X, where he will face off against Levi Haines for a spot on the U.S. Senior World Team.

Wick built his collegiate legacy wrestling for Wisconsin and Cal Poly, earning All-American honors four times

Evan Wick’s NCAA Placements:

2018 (Wisconsin): 3rd place at 165 lbs
2019 (Wisconsin): 4th place at 165 lbs
2020 (Wisconsin): NWCA First Team All-American (season canceled)
2022 (Cal Poly): 3rd place at 165 lbs

Known for his length, mat control, and elite riding skills, Wick has remained active on the freestyle scene since concluding his NCAA career. His decision to sign with the RAF signals a dual focus: continuing to pursue World and Olympic aspirations while also exploring opportunities in the evolving world of wrestling entertainment.

RAF aims to spotlight high level American wrestlers in a fan focused format that combines competition with character. With Wick now part of the roster and competing on the biggest stages in freestyle wrestling, his presence adds legitimacy and star power to the brand’s early identity.
