Quick Overview:
Liam Cronin- Had a strong performance at the recently concluded US Open with a runner up finish. Posted a nice win over Daniel DeShazer
Jac Forrest- All the eyes on Forrest as this point with a phenomenal performance at the US Open as the high schooler has booked his ticket to Final X where he will face 2023 world champion Vito Arujau. Forrest had big wins as he teched Nahshon Garrett and Seth Gross on his way to gold.
Joey McKenna- McKenna has been a staple in this weight class for years and is coming off a win at the US Open as well and will be heading back to Final X. Posted a nice win against familiar foe and Buckeye Jesse Mendez 3-2 in the finals.
Ian Parker- Former Iowa State wrestler and had a strong performance at the US Open finishing in 3rd place.
Ladarion Lockett- Great run through the U20 bracket winning the US Open with a 5-2 decision against Penn State commit Joe Sealey. Oklahoma State fans are excited to see what Lockett brings to the table.
Evan Wick- Has been a staple on the senior level for a while and capitalized on his chance at the open defeating 174lb NCAA Champion Dean Hamiti in the finals 9-2 to book his ticket to Final X.
Zahid Valencia- Another guy to watch and is always exciting. Valencia is also coming off a win at the US Open where defeated 4x world champion Kyle Dake in a thriller. Should be the favorite to win here in Mexico.
Trent Hidlay- Won the US Open with a pretty convincing performance against the field and will be fun to watch here at Pan-Ams.
Justin Rademacher- Currently at Oregon State and had a great performance in the U20 bracket where he defeated Camden McDanel in the finals 8-7. Rademacher was also on the junior world team last year where he earned a bronze medal.
Wyatt Hendrickson- The big man keeps the momentum going as the NCAA Champion dominated his way through the US Open scoring a tech against Demetrius Thomas in the finals 14-3.
