Ohio State Defeats Virginia Tech Wrestling 24-12

The #8 ranked Ohio State Buckeyes were able to get the win over #5 Virginia Tech with multiple big wins in the dual meet.

We got to see freshman Nick Feldman pick up a big win against Hunter Catka scoring a takedown with short time to win the match 3-2 and take out the #16 ranked wrestler in the country.

At 125 Brendan McCrone put on an absolutely dominant performance against All American Eddie Ventresca getting the major decision.

Virginia Tech had some bright spots with Andonian at 157 getting the 7-4 win over former high school teammate Paddy Gallgher.

Mekhi Lewis looked solid against a tough Carson Kharchla grinding out a 4-2 victory at 174 pounds, Sam Latona took care of business vs Nic Bouzakis, and Caleb Henson did so as well against Dylan D’Emilio
