Gauge Botero recently announced he’d be continuing his academic and athletic at the University of Michigan. The news came via an Instagram post in which he took the time to thank his family and coaches.
Some of Botero’s high school accolades consist of him being a Pennsylvania State champ, placing third at Fargo and at Beast of the East tournament, as well as being a finalist at Escape the Rock and having a 88-9 record over his high school athletic career.
According to Botero the decision in his commitment consisted of the high academic standards, the possibility of improving his wrestling skills, and experiencing new adventures.
During his time in Michigan Botero is looking forward to improving his skills as well as using state of the art equipment and private coaches in order to help him improve as an athlete.
