Kennedy Blades And Audrey Jimenez Into U23 World Finals

With day 3 of the 2023 U23 world championships in the book we have two of our women’s wrestlers into the world finals tomorrow.

Audrey Jimenez (50kg) had a great run so far this tournament with two wins by technical superiority to start off the tournament.

In the semifinals she met up with Elnura Mammadova of Azerbaijan and was able to pull out a 7-4 win advancing to the world finals. She will face Umi Ito of Japan in the finals who won both of her matches by tech.

Kennedy Blades (76kg) has cruised her way through the tournament so far with 3 wins by technical superiority, and all of them came in the first period.

She will meet Reetika (UWW) in the world finals tomorrow who has been very dominant herself.
