Big news coming out as the number one prospect in the class of 2023 Cody Chittum has flipped his commitment from the University of Iowa to Iowa State.

Chittum was initially committed to Minnesota before flipping to Iowa last year. Just yesterday the Hawkeyes picked up a big transfer in Victor Voinovich from Oklahoma State.

In an interview, he stated that the environment at Iowa was very enjoyable and that he will miss the people there. He also stated that he would rather leave Iowa than be on a team with his former high school teammate Anthony Ferrari

As a projected 157 pound wrestler Chittum will fit right in with the Iowa State lineup. With Casey Swiderski, Paniro Johnson, and David Carr around him there is no doubt that Chittum will thrive.
