Kyle Dake Accepts Bid To Final X At 74kg

PC: Tony Rotundo

4x World Champion Kyle Dake has officially accepted his bid to Final X this June where he will take on the winner of the US Open which is set to go down at the end of this month.

Dake has made every world or Olympic team since 2018 where he made his first defeating Zahid Valencia for the 79kg spot. Since then he has won every single world championships he has wrestled at and won a bronze medal at the Tokyo Olympics.

Last year Dake faced off against Jason Nolf for the world team spot at Final X. Dake was able to get the sweep over Nolf 2-0 but the matches were competitive.

Nolf looks like the clear favorite to win the Open at 74kg at the moment so I would expect a rematch of Dake and Nolf at Final X this year.
