A massive pickup for the Scarlet Knights as former Harvard heavyweight Yaraslau Slavikouski has announced that the will be heading to Rutgers.
Slavikouski has had a rough go in his career so far. He was a national qualifier in 2020 compiling a 30-8 record that season but of course did not get the chance to compete due to the cancellation.
In 2021 the Ivy Leagues were not allowed to compete, and in 2022 Slavikouski was off to a very good start but got injured in the finals of the CKLV and was out for the rest of the season.
This year he was the 6 seed at the NCAA tournament and lost in the blood rounds. He did have his best year yet with a 30-6 record.
He should be a very good fit into this Rutgers lineup and he will most likely have 2 years of eligibility left if he decides to use both of them.
