Today Bellator announced that former 2x NCAA Champion and 2020 U.S. World Team member Jordan Oliver has been signed to a multi-fight deal.

After many hints and speculation, Oliver will now officially pursue his MMA career in the featherweight division, and will train at the notorious Kill Cliff FC.

In 2021, Oliver made the Olympic team for the U.S, however fell short in qualifying for the Olympics. At age 32, Oliver has now decided that the switch to MMA is the best thing for him.

Oliver now joins former Cowboy teammate Kyle Crutchmer in Bellator’s promotion, and hopes that he and Oliver can fight on the same card in the future.

“Cowboy fans would love us on the same card”, tweeted Crutchmer.

There is no specific date for Oliver’s debut, however it is set to go down in 2023. An opponent for Oliver has also not been set, as it could take some months for Oliver to continue training and get settled into his first MMA fight camp.
