Bellator has announced that they have signed former 2x NCAA Finalist and 3x NCAA All-American Bryce Meredith to a multifight deal.
Meredith is set to fight Brandon Carrillo on March 31 at Bellator 293, as both fighters will be making their Bellator debut on the preliminary card.
Meredith is currently undefeated with a 3-0 MMA record, and racked up three finishes in the LFA (two in the first round). Meredith trains and fights out of Phoenix, Arizona at the MMA Lab, and has been recently spotted training with top UFC Bantamweight contender Sean O’Malley.
Meredith’s last fight was in early September of 2022, where he submitted Nathan Fought in the first round by rear naked choke. Coming into 2023, Meredith has his eyes set on bigger fights with a much bigger promotion, and has a great chance to continue to make a name for himself in MMA.
As more elite-level wrestlers continue to take the MMA path, Meredith is for sure one of the top prospects on the rise in Bellator as he has shown to be more than just a wrestler. In Meredith’s first two professional MMA fights, he finished both Steven Merrill and Jay Viola by TKO.
With Meredith training with O’Malley, you can expect to see a big jump in his striking as he continues to get more experience in the cage.
