Reineris Salas-Perez

Reineris Salas is a multiple time world and Olympic medalist for Cuba in freestyle wrestling. He made the world finals in 2013, and again in 2014 but fell to Abdulrashid Sadulaev.

He moved up to 97kg a few years later and had a phenomenal performance at the Tokyo Olympics where he beat Olympic champion Sharif Sharifov to win a bronze medal.

He most recently competed at the 2022 world championships in Belgrade, Serbia where he did end up competing in the 125kg weight category.
