Marcus Coleman has been named as wrestler of the week by the NCAA. Coleman shook things up at 184 pounds when he stunned 2x reigning National Champion Aaron Brooks at the Collegiate Duals.
During their bout Brooks was in on a leg, Coleman was able to maneuver a roll through counter to get Brooks on his back and pick up 6 points. Brooks would get out, however the 6 points would be too much for him to recover from and Coleman would win the match 9-7.
With Brooks being the only guy at 184 looking really untouchable Coleman knocking him off definitely makes things interesting at 184 pounds.
Also at 184 pounds UNI’s Parker Keckeisen got revenge over NC State’s Trent Hidlay by pin.
