David Taylor

David Taylor is a multiple time World and Olympic Champion freestyle wrestling for the United States. He currently competes at the 86kg weight class but has also competed at 74kg on the senior level.

Taylor won the World Championships in 2018, and 2022. He also won the Olympic Games in 2020 where he defeated familiar foe Hassan Yazdani of Iran.

During his collegiate career Taylor was a 2x National Champion and 4x National Finalist for the Penn State Nittany Lions where he was coached by Cael Sanderson.
