Big news today with brothers Erik and Mason Gibson announcing that they will be flipping their commitments from Cornell to Penn State.
They both announced this earlier today via Instagram.
Erik Gibson is a two time state place winner in Pennsylvania but did not wrestle his last two high school seasons due to the Bishop McCourt post season ban. Penn State has had a weaker weight at 157 pounds these past couple years so this could be pretty good for the Nittany Lions.
Mason Gibson was a state finalist back in 2021 and again wont be able to wrestle due to the post season ban. He will most likely be around the 125 to 133 range when he enters college so he will definitely be a big asset for the Nittany Lions.
