Evan Wick Joins Cal Poly As Assistant Wrestling Coach

Evan Wick has accepted an assistant coaching position at Cal Poly and will be coaching at the Division 1 level in the Pac 12. Coming off of a 3rd place finish at 165 pounds last season Wick will be looking to help lead a promising Cal Poly team to success this season.

One of the biggest storylines in college wrestling during the off season was All American Dom Demas announcing his transfer from Oklahoma to Cal Poly.

Along with Demas Cal Poly has multiple wrestlers in the top 20 including Bernie Truax at 197, Adam Kemp at 174, and Legend Lamer at 165.

Wick announced after the Covid year that he would be transferring to Cal Poly for his final season and with his brother Luka on the team it should be interesting to see how they do this season.
