Kayla Miracle Makes World Team

Kayla Miracle’s wrestle off with Jennifer Page has just ended and it did not disappoint. Miracle came out on top of a thrilling three match series.

Match one was Miracle’s first match back from injury as she was talking about it in her interview and how she got injured at Pan-Ams. Page pretty much dominated this match with no problem and got the 13-2 technical superiority win over the world silver medalist.

Match two seemed to be quite the opposite with Miracle back in the groove looking good. There seemed to be a lot more competitiveness in this match regardless of the end result but Miracle secured the first period tech here 12-2.

Match 3 is where things got interesting. Page gets a takedown early plus a shot clock point and is leading up until late in the second period. She gets put on the shot clock and ends up in a whizzer seatbelt position and tries to step over. This ends up with Miracle gettin a 4 point feet to back in her favor as well as the shot clock point causing the score to be 5-3.

Page could not recover from this and Miracle would take the series two matches to one. In the post match interview Miracle talked about her struggle coming back from the injury and how the first match showed that, as well as her gratitude for being able to get back on the world team representing Team USA.
