Jake Lledo has recently announced his commitment to Ohio University, with him writing, “Proud and blessed to announce that I will be continuing my athletic and academic career at Ohio University. Thank you to everyone who helped me along the way!”.
Jake Lledo finished his 2021-22 season with a 38-7 record. Some of Lledo’s most notable accomplishment consist of being a PIAA state placer. Along with being a state placer Lledo is also a league, district, and regional champion. Lledo has a career record of 103 wins and 30 losses.
When asked the questions about what was the deciding factor for his choice of commitment and what he was looking forward to, Lledo replied, “Deciding factors for me at Ohio were the coaching staff and kids on the team. they were very welcoming and showed that it was a tight knit team and community. I’m looking forward to practicing with top level college guys everyday and taking my wrestling to another level; I’m excited to see the improvements on top of starting a new stage of my life in another state”.
Lledo will now be wrestling at the colligative level at Ohio University.
