All American Michael Beard is in the transfer portal. Beard placed 7th at the national tournament in 2021 this being his sole trip to the national tournament. With his three years of eligibility and Max Dean getting the spot over him it looked to be in his best interest to enter the transfer portal.
All speculation as of now but according to the rumors Beard lost his wrestle off to Max Dean 9-8 in which was a last second takedown. We all know that Beard is good with wins over guys such as Stephen Buchanan and Cameron Caffey.
As far as landing spots for the Nittany Lion guy Northwestern seems to be the one that people are talking about the most since that was where Beard was initially committed before going to Penn State. Beard would most likely have a starting spot at really any team he decides to go to except a couple but it will be interesting to see what he does.
