Wisconsin head coach Chris Bono has come to an agreement with the Wisconsin athletics and his contract has been extended until May 31, 2027.
Bono has been the head coach of the Wisconsin wrestling team since the 2018-19 season and was hired after the 2018 season end due to Barry Davis announcing he would be resigning as the head coach for the Badgers after 25 years.
Bono has done great things for the program since he has been there. The future looks bright for the Wisconsin team this season with them returning some of the older guys such as Trent Hillger and Eric Barnett who have been a part of the program for a while and younger guys such as Dean Hamiti and Braxton Amos who will be doing big things in the next couple years.
