A tweet just came out with a direct message from Gable Steveson asking when the deadline is to accept the bid to sit in Final X. The Olympic Champion must declare that he will be accepting the bid before May 4th if he wants the chance to do so or he must go through the entire challenge tournament should he make the choice late.
There has been some speculation that Steveson may be coming back to make one final run at the World Championships to get the super match with Iranian Amir Zare to leave the wrestling scene as a unanimous number 1 at 125kg.
He already has wins over Geno Petrishvili, and Taha Akgul who are ranked 2nd and 3rd respectively. There has been a lot of talk all over the place that Zare would beat him and people are on whatever side, no better way to settle this all.
This match was supposed to happen in the bout at the ballpark event but with the Iranian team failing to receive visas due to comments that were made this got shut down.
For know this is all that has been scene but more is definitely to come.
