Isaiah Martinez And Alec Pantaleo Look To Qualify For The World Team Trials

There are a good amount of solid wrestlers that have yet to qualify for the world team trials. Martinez and Pantaleo are the most surprising.

Pantaleo has a win over James Green last year in Poland and multiple wins over Jordan Oliver. With how he has progressed in the past couple of years all he needs to do is win the US Open and he will most likely have the top seed at the trials unless Deakin gets it.

Martinez has looked a little rough recently but has also been going through it as a competitor. Was out for the Olympic Trials due to injury, had a child before the world team trials and that looked to have played a part in how focused he was.

He is looking much better now and is still a threat but 79 is stacked with some of the best guys in Chance Marstellar, Alex Dieringer, Carter Starocci and more. Should he make it through all of that he will have Jordan Burroughs who he has already claimed a win against.

Both of these guys should have no problem qualifying for the world team trials but other than that where they actually fall in their weight classes is up in the air.
