Some very exciting news has just occurred today. Nick Fea has announced that he will be continuing his wrestling career at UNC.
Nick Fea, who was a Bergen Catholic wrestler, ended his senior season with a 15-2 record. He had an impressive win over Kyle Demeester with a pin in 8 seconds. Fea played a major role in leading the team to winning the NJSIAA North Jersey, Non-public Group A state championship.
Fea is listed as the number 14 overall wrestler in the 160-pound weight class according to Flo Wrestling Rankings.
In a question on why Nick Fea chose to commit to UNC Fea replied “I knew UNC was the school when a wrestler told me that the ratio of girls to guys is 70% to 30%”
Looking forward to Fea’s promising career at UNC. Only time will tell where Fea will end up in his wrestling career.
